As a Customer Service Agent, you'll interact with clients in a courteous, efficient, pleasant, and professional manner, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. About the Role The Customer Service Agent is a critical role at blithequark, responsible for providing top-notch customer service to clients. As a remote Customer Service Agent, you'll work with customers to resolve their queries, address their concerns, and ensure their satisfaction with our services. Key Responsibilities Issue, reissue, and refund passenger tickets Book, tag, and confirm flight reservations Rebook passengers on oversold flights and during abnormal operations Perform passenger check-in and passenger seat assignment (except curbside), rectify oversold seat assignments, and issue upgrades Issue vouchers and/or coordinate with contractors for passenger hotel accommodations, food, and transportation; coordinate refueling and refresh Perform passenger boarding, including ticket lift and/or boarding pass lift/verification Operate gate reader/scanner and related responsibilities to include pre-boarding, monitoring/checking carry-on bags, and exiting row criteria Operate jetways/bridges for the purposes of boarding and deplaning passengers Make boarding and departure gate announcements Deliver domestic/international flight manifests Perform passenger service flight close-out procedures Accept, check, and tag passengers' bags at decision centers, full-service ticket counters, and first-class ticket counters Maintain the timeline of the flight boarding process Perform customer support at the job training Process and complete credit card bag transactions at kiosks within the ticket counter area and activation stations Assist passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk bag processing at ticket counters Queue lines at ticket counter kiosks and ticket counters Clear/confirm international documents at kiosk within the ticket counter area and activation stations Accept and trigger passengers' self-tagged luggage at activation stations Assist clients needing special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and transporting non-ambulatory passengers, special assistance passengers, and/or unaccompanied minors Perform customer support work related to handling local flights and contractor/floor handling agreements or contracts Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including meeting any mandatory overtime requirements Respond and assist during safety and/or emergency situations Provide connecting passengers with gate information Provide exceptional customer support in a professional manner and according to blithequark guidelines Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and performance standards Complete job-applicable training Adhere to government regulations (e.g., DOT, FAA, TSA) Use multiple internal resources/systems, including during customer interactions Wear uniforms as required by agency policy Requirements for Success To excel as a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you'll need: Minimum Qualifications High school degree or GED or international equivalent Bilingual language competencies required in some locations Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable Must be able to secure suitable airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, complete background check, and/or fingerprinting to meet agency and security requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Sabre or another Passenger Service System Previous face-to-face Customer Service experience Working in a fast-paced environment What You'll Gain At blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a range of benefits, including: Travel Perks: Explore the world with 365 destinations on over 6,800 daily flights across our global network.
