Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Customer Service Agent to join our Ramp Agent team at Seattle SEA Airport. As a Ramp Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aircraft, baggage, and cargo. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of Delta Air Lines. Key Responsibilities Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, in addition to being responsible for timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions. Safeguard Cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather. Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion. Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination. Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the efficient operation of the airport. Work Environment and Schedule This is a full-time position that requires working a variety of shifts, including early morning, evening, and overnight shifts. Scheduling is based on operational needs, and shifts may vary depending on the airport's flight schedule. You will also work between 20 and 40 hours per week based on your seniority. What You Need To Succeed To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States. Have a valid driver's license. Proficiency in English. Pass a physical ability test (PAT). You can prepare for the PAT by watching this video. Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
