About the Role: Customer Service Advocate II We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Advocate II to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our customer service and claims staff, you'll be responsible for handling customer inquiries from providers and members with promptness, accuracy, and courtesy. Key Responsibilities: Provides prompt, accurate, thorough, and courteous responses to all customer inquiries, often requiring deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures. Performs research as needed to resolve inquiries, ensuring effective customer relations and accurate documentation. Initiates or processes adjustments, coordinates with other departments to resolve problems, and responds to priority inquiries and special projects as required by management. Provides feedback to management regarding customer problems, questions, and needs, maintaining accurate records on complaints and making recommendations for changes. Maintains basic knowledge of quality work instructions and company policies, assisting with process improvements and maintaining departmental productivity, quality, and timeliness standards. Assists with the training of new employees and cross-training of coworkers, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration. Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred. 1 year of claims processing or customer service experience required; Bachelor's Degree in lieu of work experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficient spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Strong human relations and organizational skills, with the ability to handle high-stress situations and maintain good judgment. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion and learn and operate multiple computer systems effectively and efficiently. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of customer service or call center experience. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Leadership skills, adaptability, and patience.
