Job Summary The Customer Sales Manager (CSM) is a critical role within arenaflex's Customer Business Team (CBT), responsible for driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction through effective category management and sales execution. As a CSM, you will be the primary liaison between arenaflex and our key customers, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales plans that meet customer needs and drive business results. Primary Responsibilities Effectively partner with customers to understand their business needs, market trends, and growth opportunities, and develop and implement sales plans that meet their needs and drive business results. Achieve New Item Authorization goals, Distribution goals, and Base Business Objectives, including Revenue and Share Growth, Authorizations, Distribution, and Optimal Shelving. Lead the implementation of Space Management Projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution. Drive promotional revenue objectives through effective tactic, price point, and selling event execution, while implementing arenaflex pricing strategies for owned categories. Work closely with the Retail Team to lead retail execution of all assigned category objectives, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate and detailed business documentation, including files and transaction records, to support business decision-making and analysis. Cross-functional collaboration with other arenaflex teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales plans. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong sales background, excellent business acumen, and a customer-centric mindset. The ideal candidate will have: Proven years of experience in customer management, account management, and/or retail sales management, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Strong sales skills, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Excellent understanding of business processes and Category Management principles. Ability to work independently and within a CBT framework to plan, organize, and set/achieve priorities. Polished interpersonal skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze category and brand performance data and develop comprehensive business plans. Willingness to travel 5-7 times per year for customer meetings and other business-related activities.
