Job Summary As a Customer Retention Specialist – Field Agent at blithequark, you will play a crucial role in providing our current customers with expertise and education on a wide variety of energy products. Your primary goal will be to help homeowners become smart energy consumers by adopting our products and services, thereby ensuring their retention and potentially generating sales of other products. Primary Responsibilities Focus on the retention of current customers by generating sales of other energy products, utilizing a consultative selling approach to increase customer awareness of their choices and the competitive advantages of choosing blithequark. Provide potential customers with detailed pricing information and effectively close sales, ensuring a professional representation of our products and an exceptional customer experience. Maintain detailed records of sales activity using CRM technology on an iPad, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company standards. Develop and nurture collaborative working relationships with other sales representatives to achieve team goals and share best practices. Represent blithequark professionally at all times, embodying the company values and committing to continuous learning and development to stay updated on our products and industry trends. Minimum Education, Experience, and Requirements To be considered for this position, you must: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, a reliable personal vehicle, and auto insurance coverage that meets the minimum state requirements. Be willing and able to visit customers face-to-face regularly, spending at least 50% of your time in the field. Physical Demands This role requires: The ability to work outdoors daily, with exposure to various weather conditions. Frequent driving, sitting, standing, and walking, with the use of hands and fingers to operate an iPad and other equipment. Occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs, including iPads, training materials, and marketing supplies. Work Schedule and Environment Please note that work hours may vary by season, with evenings and some Saturdays required. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that demands flexibility, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
