Job Overview The Customer Operations Specialist (COS) plays a vital role in our organization, serving as the primary liaison between our operations team, pilots, and valued customers. As a COS, you will be responsible for communicating with our operations team and customers to ensure seamless service delivery and the highest level of satisfaction. Your exceptional customer service skills, excellent communication abilities, and self-motivated nature will make you an invaluable asset to our team. Key Responsibilities Assist in the operation of the blithequark Operations Desk, serving as critical command and control and primary liaison between pilots and customers. Input, track, and analyze data pertaining to reports received from pilots and subsequent customer interactions. Directly communicate with customers, leaving a lasting positive impression for blithequark. Generate customer reports indicating services provided and results of inspections. Solidify hard data from a number of vague clues, utilizing your analytical skills to drive insights. Assist with the generation of the daily flying schedule and associated mission products using blithequark's proprietary software, Garmin products, and Google Earth. Assist in coordination with maintenance to understand aircraft availability and its impact on flight operations. Communicate expectations of performance to pilots prior to mission execution. Assist with general projects relating to the overall business as a critical member of a small management team. Coordinate with the President to onboard new customers and integrate requested work with existing operations. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong customer service orientation, excellent communication skills, and a self-motivated nature. You should be comfortable working with ambiguity and complexity, and have a solid foundation in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and Google Earth. The following qualifications are essential: Customer service orientation with an interest in operations. Excellent communication skills, especially verbal. Self-motivated, comfortable working with ambiguity and complexity. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and Google Earth. Full weekend availability, with a 5-day work week. Preferred qualifications include experience in a similar role, knowledge of the oil and gas industry, and experience with aerial patrol services.
