Transparency, continuous improvement, and open communication drive our culture of trust and excellence, where new ideas are valued, and growth is encouraged. **The Role** As a Customer Onboarding Specialist, you'll be responsible for expediting the final stages of customer loan applications, including: * Conducting timely and accurate review of loan stipulations to ensure funding time meets or exceeds expectations and service level standards * Recognizing and effectively communicating consumer loan products with customers to help them make informed decisions regarding their loan options * Engaging with our customers using proper phone etiquette as a front-line team member, making a positive lasting first impression of arenaflex * Developing an in-depth understanding of the arenaflex verification process * Identifying opportunities to increase verification process efficiencies * Verification responsibilities may include validating identity, address, and social security number; employment, auto insurance, vehicle value, lien and title verification; analyzing proof of income; reviewing loan documents for accuracy and completeness * Identifying, investigating, and/or escalating potential fraud risks * Providing exceptional service through daily interactions with both internal and external customers * Maintaining thorough knowledge of arenaflex policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws * Performing all other duties as assigned by management **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma or GED equivalent * Two or more years of funding, loan verification, or underwriting experience * Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Service orientation * Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team settings * Ability to problem solve and identify opportunities for customer success **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in the financial services industry * Knowledge of loan verification processes and procedures * Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software * Experience with data analysis and reporting **Work Environment and Culture** This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere that suits you best! While you'll primarily work from home, you are always welcome to visit our office in Irving, TX, whenever you choose. We encourage our remote team members to stay connected through regular virtual meetings and team events.
