About the Role We're seeking an experienced Customer Engineer - Windows Server Platforms to. As a Customer Engineer, you will be focused on delivering proactive services such as education workshops, assessments, and expert guidance to our clients.You will train customers, share industry and development expertise, and be part of a thriving developer community that's constantly looking for ways to improve our customers' experience, software development goals, and use of technology. This role is 100% remote, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere. Key Responsibilities Deliver proactive services, including education workshops, assessments, and expert guidance to clients Train customers and share industry and development expertise Build strong customer relationships and ensure deliveries align with customer projects and milestones Gain access to expertise and support from our consulting practice and product group Maintain and extend accreditations and certifications, assist in developing best practices for key technologies and products to support technical team readiness Demonstrate strong communication skills, ability to develop strategic ongoing customer relationships, and gain trust and respect for our Premier services Troubleshoot and analyze problems, and provide expert guidance to clients Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Technical experience with hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, and technology management 8+ years of experience in customer-facing roles in systems architecture, administration, operations, software support, IT consulting, on-premises and cloud support or consulting for enterprise and/or government customer base, and advanced troubleshootingAdvanced knowledge of Azure, including IaaS platform, Infrastructure as Code, Governance, Azure Migrate, Well-Architected Framework, and Cloud Adoption Framework Broad knowledge of on-premises products, with a deep understanding of Windows Server (Windows Server 2012 R2-2025), Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare, Azure VMWare Services, Azure Stack HCI), Windows Client (Windows 10/11), Patching/Windows Update, Networking, Storage, Failover Clustering, Windows Performance, Blue Screen/kernel debugging, PowerShell, RDS, and WVD Proven track record in successfully planning, deploying, operating, and optimizing on-premises environments Windows and Azure certifications are highly preferred Essential Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Strong technical writing, presentation, and training skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop strategic ongoing customer relationships and gain trust and respect for our Premier services Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Growth mindset and a passion for learning and self-improvementCareer Growth and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.As a Customer Engineer, you'll have access to leading training programs, hands-on experience, and opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies.
