As a Customer Engineer III, Security, you will play a critical role in helping customers navigate the complexities of cloud security and compliance, leveraging your expertise to drive adoption and growth. Job Overview In this role, you will work closely with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to identify and address technical security and compliance blockers. Your expertise in cloud native architecture and cybersecurity will be instrumental in developing strategies to resolve complex technical issues and drive customer success. You will also collaborate with product management teams to prioritize solutions that impact customer adoption and contribute to the development of customer best practices in security, privacy, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical security and compliance blockers. Share knowledge in security, privacy, and regulatory compliance to support the technical relationship with customers, technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to blithequark Cloud. Collaborate with blithequark Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments. Contribute to programs in areas of security, privacy, and compliance with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Legal, and Policy), and drive enablement internally to create customer best practices. Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed, acting as a public advocate for blithequark Cloud. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture and cybersecurity in a customer-facing or support role. 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, fraud, or cloud native architectures in a customer-facing role (e.g., threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems) or fraud. Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Cloud or Security industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP). Experience implementing security solutions for enterprises (e.g., threat detection and hunting, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems) or fraud solutions for enterprises (e.g., account takeover prevention, payment fraud prevention, or other types of automated fraud). Experience in software development, developing numerous web-based applications. Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity or fraud industry (e.g., ransomware, attack frameworks, OWASP, etc.). Excellent problem-solving, verbal, written communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
