About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Customer Engineer to work directly with Google Cloud's Technical Outreach teams as an enterprise database expert. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in helping clients understand and leverage Google Cloud solutions, driving business growth and digital transformation. As a Customer Engineer, you'll work closely with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to identify and address technical challenges, develop strategic plans, and deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities


Collaborate with the Technical Outreach team to identify and qualify business opportunities, pinpoint key client technical pain points, and develop strategies to overcome technical blockers.
Support technical relationships with Google clients, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and coordination of solutions that impact client adoption of Google Cloud.
Work with clients to demonstrate and model Google Cloud product integrations in client/partner environments, showcasing the value and potential of our solutions.
Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application foundations required to execute comprehensive solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
Participate in client meetings, conferences, and other related events as needed, representing Google Cloud and Workwarp.


Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:


A four-year college education in Software Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 2 years of experience with data migration techniques and moving production frameworks from on-premise/data center environments to the cloud.
At least 2 years of experience with database technologies and database administration practices.


Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will give you a competitive edge:


2 years of experience in optimizing database performance concerning conditional or logical jobs.
2 years of experience in technical sales or professional consulting in the fields of systems integration, data migration/management, and enterprise database performance.
Knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR) and data backup strategies.
The ability to learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, procedures, and solutions in the Cloud/IT Innovation space.
