**Job Summary**

As a Customer Development Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for creating and delivering actionable insights and recommendations based on a variety of data sources. You will analyze and report on category performance metrics, including sales, profits, margins, and market share, to identify trends and drive improvements. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you create and deliver reports using Point of Sale (POS) data, syndicated data from sources like Nielsen and IRI, and account-specific databases.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Create and deliver insights and recommendations using various data sources, including POS data, syndicated data, and account-specific databases.
* Monitor the field execution of vendor programs and ensure that our vendor programs are executed effectively in the field.
* Stay informed of analytic best practices across the industry and provide valuable information that aligns with our sales, margin, and market development goals.
* Analyze and report data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions, and develop, communicate, execute, and monitor performance metrics and goals.
* Track category performance including sales, profits, margins, and market share, and create and deliver effective reports using POS data and syndicated data.
* Analyze supply chain to evaluate and recommend supplier performance, and understand and apply customer, consumer, and industry insights using market research data.
* Ensure superior client satisfaction through deep analytics and team problem-solving.

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's Degree and experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, with Adult Beverage experience preferred.
* Understanding of National Chain Sales, Retail, and Distributor operations, including category management principles and shopper/consumer insights.
* High-level understanding of Category Management processes and practices, including assertive leadership and decision-making skills with high energy.
* Preferred experience with Syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI) and Internal Shipment Data, as well as a strong foundation in business fundamentals and business finance.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and quantitative analysis skills, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

**Nice-to-Haves**

* Experience in the Adult Beverage industry, including familiarity with market research methodologies and ability to collaborate with external retail customers and key suppliers.
