Key Responsibilities: Delivering Exceptional Customer Care
Respond to inbound customer calls regarding health insurance benefits, eligibility, and claim status, providing accurate and timely resolutions.
Support less experienced team members and handle escalated issues, demonstrating expertise and leadership.
Collaborate with clients and internal departments to resolve issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Organize and complete tasks according to assigned priorities, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Maintain a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability in all interactions.
Develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry, products, services, and processes performed by the team.
Essential Qualifications: Experience and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A High School Diploma or GED.
At least 3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the healthcare insurance industry.
A minimum of 3 years of experience with healthcare insurance policy concepts and terminology.
Proficient in using a computer with Windows PC applications, with a minimum internet speed of 20 upload/20 download.
Reliable transportation and availability to commute to our Providence, RI office when required.
Flexible scheduling: available to work Monday-Friday (08:00am to 08:00pm EST) and Saturday or Sunday (08:00am to 12:00pm EST), with potential for overtime and weekend work based on business requirements.
