Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Care Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a vital role in handling a variety of incoming customer phone calls, resolving complex inquiries, and providing exceptional service while adhering to company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Handle customer calls in a timely and professional manner, following company-provided procedures and ensuring accurate information is provided to customers. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of policies and procedures to respond to customer calls, striving to reduce the need for supervisor callbacks. Participate in voluntary and mandatory training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. Assist with floor training and/or shadowing opportunities when needed, contributing to the development of your colleagues. Complete special assignments as needed in a timely manner, demonstrating your ability to work independently and manage your time effectively. Maintain responsible time and attendance, adhering to our company's expectations and requirements. Participate in mandatory and voluntary overtime as needed, demonstrating your flexibility and commitment to our team's success. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service environment preferred, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service and resolving complex customer inquiries. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage your time, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with SAP CRM and ECC systems, with a strong understanding of utility company operations and regulations. Previous experience working for a utility company, with a thorough understanding of PUC rules and regulations, including Chapter 56 and Chapter 14. Strong knowledge of arenaflex policies and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge to resolve complex customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.
