Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Customer Care Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Care Representative, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service and support to our clients and claimants. You will be responsible for managing inbound calls, performing outbound voice work tasks, and responding to client and claimant inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities

Display a high level of compassion, empathy, and sympathy when interacting with clients and claimants, maintaining professionalism in every situation
Treat every claimant with integrity, demonstrating accountability, respect, and reliability
Provide effective verbal and written communication, ensuring timely and accurate responses to client and claimant inquiries
Utilize judgment and a sense of urgency to make accurate decisions, leveraging available resources and technology
Manage inbound calls for claimant-related leaves and/or Intake applications, performing outbound voice work tasks as assigned
Accurately file and document client/claimant-specific information into applicable systems, adhering to department standards and HIPAA regulations
Consistently deliver exceptional customer service, measured by the results of our Quality Monitoring program
Demonstrate confidence, strong decision quality, and sound judgment when assisting claimants and resolving routine administrative technical issues
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and abide by HIPAA rules and regulations, protecting personal health information


Essential Qualifications

Strong customer service skills, with a polite, friendly, and helpful demeanor
Ability to type and talk simultaneously, with proven patience and understanding
Active listening skills, with strong attention to detail and demonstrated compassion
Ability to work independently and remotely, with a reliable and predictable attendance record
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), with experience using web-based programs and high-speed home internet
Ability to manage and meet departmental deadlines and key performance indicators


Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a call center environment, preferably in a customer-facing role
Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with claims processing
Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on customer service
