Job Overview The Customer Care Associate position is a full-time, 100% remote opportunity that offers a unique blend of customer service, sales, and problem-solving skills. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for processing incoming orders, resolving customer inquiries, and providing consultative support to drive customer satisfaction and retention. Key Responsibilities Ensure that sales are captured by responding to customers and entering orders accurately and efficiently in SAP. Resolve customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner, using multiple customer support tools, including conducting research in SAP and contacting business units as appropriate. Maintain world-class standards by successfully performing against department scorecards and metrics, and continuously exceeding service requirements of business units by building and managing relationships with customers and contacts. Establish and maintain world-class customer relations by developing a rapport, actively listening, and providing consultative support and recommendations to drive customer satisfaction and retention. Identify and evaluate opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain customer confidence, and protect operations by keeping information confidential and sustaining satisfaction by suggesting alternatives to out of stock or limited quantity items. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including participating in team meetings, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs. No previous experience required, but a results-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills are essential. Ability to multi-task, work independently, and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines. Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries and drive customer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience. 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the consumer products or distribution industry. Experience with SAP or other customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
