About the Role: Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent The Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent plays a vital role in our organization, responsible for monitoring alarm signals, responding to emergencies, and maintaining communication with customers and emergency responders. Key Responsibilities: Respond to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action. Dispatch emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies, ensuring prompt and effective response. Provide world-class customer service to customers in their time of need, demonstrating empathy, understanding, and a commitment to resolving their concerns. Notify customers of non-emergency signals, keeping them informed and up-to-date on the status of their alarm systems. Notify account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed and involved. Receive and process inbound calls requesting information, providing accurate and helpful responses to customer inquiries. Requirements for Success: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities that enable you to provide exceptional customer service and respond effectively to emergency situations. The following requirements are essential: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation in education and a commitment to learning. Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute, ensuring efficient and accurate communication. Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states, demonstrating a commitment to integrity and trustworthiness. One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required, highlighting the importance of customer-focused skills and experience. Nice-to-Haves: In addition to the essential requirements, the following skills and qualifications are desirable: Bilingual Spanish/English speakers, with an additional $1.00 per hour, demonstrating a commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
