**Job Summary:**

As a Customer Advocate I, you will work in a fast-paced call center environment, utilizing your excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries and concerns. You will be responsible for conducting research, data entry, and providing exceptional customer service to our members and physicians. **Key Responsibilities:**

- Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner.
- Conduct research to resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all interactions are professional, courteous, and respectful.
- Spend approximately 90% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs, and sit for long periods of time with scheduled breaks.
- Utilize data entry and typing skills to accurately document customer interactions and update records as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers.

**Essential Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment.
- Data entry and/or typing experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions.
- Ability to spend approximately 90% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs, and sit for long periods of time with scheduled breaks.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- 9 months of customer service experience.
- Experience working with various lines of business, such as CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
- Referral preference given to applicants who can take and meet testing criteria.
