**Job Summary**

As a Customer Advocate I, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional member experiences by responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. You will work under supervision in a call center environment, conducting research and spending approximately 85% of your scheduled time on the phone according to business needs. **Key Responsibilities**

* Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
* Conduct research to resolve member inquiries and provide solutions
* Spend approximately 85% of scheduled time on the phone according to business needs
* Use data entry and typing skills to accurately document member interactions
* Develop and maintain a strong understanding of arenaflex's products and services
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex member issues
* Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

**Essential Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent
* 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
* Data entry and/or typing experience
* Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Analytical and organizational skills
* Independent decision-making skills
* Ability to spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone according to business needs and sit for long periods of time with scheduled breaks

**Preferred Qualifications**

* 9 months of customer service experience
* Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
* Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
* Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
* Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria
