As a collections professional, you will play a crucial role in servicing our large and growing portfolio. This position is 100% remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere, and requires availability for shift requirements between 8:00am – 7:00pm CST, Monday through Friday, and 8:00am – 12:00pm CST on Saturday. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Account Support Specialist at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Contacting customers to determine the reason for payment delinquency and negotiating payments. Handling accounts with speed and accuracy while maintaining professionalism and integrity. Confirming and/or negotiating payment arrangements, researching any discrepancies, and resolving issues efficiently. Completing phone calls to meet required performance standards and metrics, ensuring high-quality customer interactions. Maintaining established objectives for delinquency, repossessions, and net losses, and staying informed of changes in policies and procedures. Utilizing computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate and efficient account management. Documenting all accounts accurately, clearly, and concisely, noting the reason for delinquency and any follow-up actions required. Responding to customer inquiries with accurate information, professionalism, and integrity, providing exceptional customer service. Adhering to all state and federal laws in the handling of accounts, ensuring compliance and ethical practices. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Customer Account Support Specialist at blithequark, you should possess: Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely. Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of your work. Professional phone etiquette, with a friendly, courteous, and patient demeanor in customer interactions. Good follow-up skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts simultaneously. Persuasive negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve issues effectively. Microsoft Windows and Internet-based applications experience, with basic typing and data entry skills. Ability to multi-task, work independently, and contribute to a team environment. Ability to work a five-day workweek, including some Saturdays, with flexibility to meet business needs. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: High School or Equivalent Required, with an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field being advantageous. Prior experience in financial services or a similar industry, with a background in collections or account management.
