Job Overview We are seeking an exceptional Custom Circuits Design Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely and contributing to the design and development of advanced System-on-Chip (SOC) solutions. As a key member of our silicon design group, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life. With a focus on low power consumption and high performance, you will design and develop custom digital circuits, including SRAM memories, on-chip sensors, and ML accelerators, utilizing your expertise in circuit design, simulation, and verification. Key Responsibilities Design and develop custom digital circuits, including SRAM memories, on-chip sensors, and ML accelerators, for advanced SOC applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including power, PD, and design engineers, to define specifications and requirements Perform circuit design, simulation, modeling, and verification, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project deadlines Work closely with the layout team to complete the design and oversee the layout quality, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance Develop and drive circuit architectures to achieve the highest design quality metrics, leveraging your expertise in deep submicron device physics and technology interactions Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience Proven experience in designing low voltage/low power custom circuits, with a strong understanding of device physics, leakage mechanisms, and technology interactions Experience in one or more of the following areas: AI accelerators, SRAM circuits, non-volatile memories, weak/invertible circuits, super low power amplifiers, DC/DC converters, digital on-chip sensors, high-speed timing, and time-to-digital converters (TDCs) Strong comprehension of device modeling, device noise sources (1/f, thermal), and external noise sources (supply, jitter), and their impact on high-precision circuits Ability to conduct experiments during silicon debug, manufacturing, and analyzing data, utilizing scripting languages (Python/Perl or others) and CAD automation tools Preferred Qualifications Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a strong academic background and research experience Experience with industry-standard circuit design and simulation tools, including CAD software and scripting languages Knowledge of asynchronous message verification and social models for asynchronous message blocks Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees, providing opportunities for continuous learning, professional development, and career advancement.
