About the Role: CT Technologist (36 hours/week, Days)

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced CT Technologist to work 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. As a CT Technologist at EvergreenHealth, you'll play a critical role in our diagnostic imaging department, working closely with our team of radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:


Perform complex CT scan examinations and procedures, including injecting contrast material under the direct supervision of a Radiologist.
Operate and maintain CT scanner equipment, ensuring optimal technical factors such as kilovolts, milliamperes, slices, and exposure time to produce high-quality images.
Analyze patient information, including general body size, physical condition, and age, to accurately perform CT examinations.
Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, and maintaining patient confidence and dignity.
Handle incoming and interoffice telephone calls and inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
Greet patients, obtain history, start IVs when necessary, and prepare patients for scans.
Schedule CT Scan exams, ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurate, and update patient status in the RIS.
Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork.


Essential Qualifications:


ARRT certification or registry eligibility, with a requirement to take the registry within the first 45 days of employment.
Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
Training specific to the operation and performance of CT scanners.
Current WA State Radiologic Technologist licensure.


Preferred Qualifications:


1 year of experience in a radiology setting, with a strong understanding of CT technology and procedures.
Registered in CT Technology with ARRT within one year of employment.
