Key Responsibilities and Expectations
As a Multimedia Design Lead, you will be responsible for working closely with our Content and Production teams to establish the look and feel of packages and oversee the exceptional execution of all broadcast deliverables, including titles, intros, inserts, stats, scores, AR, in-venue signage, and studio art direction. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading the creative vision and roadmap for our live events, developing a comprehensive strategy for implementation across all functions
Offering visionary leadership and mentorship to our creative teams, empowering them to excel and innovate
Evaluating the creative capabilities of external partners and securing strategic long-term partnerships for creative buildout and implementation
Designing industry-leading, best-in-class design systems that extend beyond the event and positively impact promotional, navigational, and streaming creative
Building and leading teams to develop scalable methods with branding, graphic systems, animation packaging, and editorial graphics
About You and the Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have a deep knowledge of Live Production, creative strategy, and execution, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional design and animation systems for live content. You should prioritize relationships and team building, fostering a culture of creativity and professional excellence. The essential qualifications for this role include:
10+ years of professional experience working with a creative studio or media organization
Proven industry-leading work that drives results
Experience in hands-on design and creative leadership, at scale, instilling best practices in creative engineering
In-depth knowledge of graphic design, motion graphics, animation principles, compositing, and key art
Ability to lead projects that synthesize brand DNA from live events to marketing executions
Advanced understanding of common behaviors of deliverables for live television
Comfort and experience leading teams in large-scale projects and presenting to executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Advanced knowledge of and experience in the Live sports design space, trends, and an understanding of Netflix's place in the competition
