About the Role The Craftsmanship Chief will be responsible for: Developing industry-leading work that inspires and motivates the design and motion team Overseeing design lobbies for live games and studio shows, ensuring cohesive and impactful branding Coordinating additional graphic systems designed for long-term success Driving high-level motion work through effective ideation and articulation of direction Executing and implementing creative concepts for features, content bundles, and live elements Designing and presenting inventions to internal and external partners Refining the design framework foundation of direct design campaigns Collaborating with Activity and Graphics Playout, Creative Tasks, Music, and Post Alter groups to ensure cooperative success Providing creative leadership across ESPN Creative Studio Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: 4+ years of professional experience working within an innovative studio or media organization In-depth knowledge of motion graphics, animation principles/methods, and render motors Experience in 3D graphic environments and rendering Experience in driving large-scale graphic processes A high-level understanding of the normal behaviors of expectations for live TV A solid understanding of typography, composition, hierarchy, and balance Comfort and experience in leading teams and presenting to senior leadership Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Cinema 4D Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines A strong work-from-home setup with a reliable internet connection Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Additionally, having the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Knowledge of the game's design space, trends, and understanding of ESPN's position among the competition What We Offer As a member of the Disney team, you can expect: A competitive hourly rate of $30-$35/hour Opportunities for career growth and professional development in a dynamic and innovative industry A collaborative and inclusive work environment, despite being remote Access to cutting-edge technology and tools A chance to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the success of the company Company Culture and Work Environment The Walt Disney Company is committed to fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and inclusivity.
