Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Account Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. As a key member of our sales and business development team, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining relationships with clients in the transportation industry. Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives through strategic planning, effective communication, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain relationships with clients through personal sales approaches, assigned accounts, and proper entertainment as supported by FCC Deal Management.
Build associations with potential future clients and serve as the knowledgeable authority in all FCC Services by utilizing resources such as Deal Education and Product Information Training.
Infiltrate accounts at different levels within their organization, including the executive level, to identify opportunities for growth and development.
Develop and execute sales plans for key accounts to achieve indicated revenue and margin objectives, as well as direct secondary involvement to execute desired strategies.
Conduct market research and analysis to uncover new potential business opportunities and identify areas for growth and development.
Collaborate with other FedEx Operating Organizations to meet client needs and corporate objectives, and work with Inside Sales to ensure client needs and corporate objectives are met.
Manage and maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems to reflect area activity, contact data, and opportunities accurately.
Utilize MS Office products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) to effectively present and communicate information both internally and externally.


Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
At least 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the transportation industry.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
Ability to travel and have reliable transportation, with a willingness to expedite travel up to 50%.


Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
Proven ability to sell and service specific vertical business markets, with a strong understanding of the transportation industry.
Experience with CRM systems and MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
