As a Content Planning Associate, you will play a vital role in the Disney+ Global Content Programming and Subscriber Engagement team, contributing to the development of a cohesive strategic content approach that drives engagement and growth. About the Team and Role The Disney+ Global Content Programming and Subscriber Engagement team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights. As a Content Planning Associate, you will report to the Sr. Manager of Content Planning and work closely with various teams throughout the planning lifecycle, including Finance, Operations, Studios, Networks, and International Programming teams. Your expertise will help ensure alignment and adherence to business processes, driving the success of our streaming services. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day tracking of Disney+ slate updates, collaborating with key stakeholders, including executives, to ensure seamless communication and process adherence. Assist in the content planning intake process, adding titles to scope, capturing creative and business details, routing for approvals, and communicating updates with cross-functional teams. Support the Sr. Manager, Content Planning with ad hoc strategic projects tied to the function, applying your expertise to drive business outcomes. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the team for slate-tracking processes related to systems and tools, supporting efforts to improve these processes and systems. Required Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: 2+ years of experience in a similar field, such as content planning, slate planning, content strategy, or scheduling. Experience with content planning tools, with Airtable preferred. Proven ability to excel in ambiguous roles and dynamic processes, adapting through self-reliance and resourcefulness. Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy. Ability to manage and process detailed information while keeping perspective on the bigger picture. Collaborative mindset, with the ability to problem-solve and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset. Ability to produce polished, accurate, and clear documents for internal stakeholders. Strong emotional intelligence and collaborative spirit. Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Proficiency in Airtable, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Salesforce. SVOD or Linear TV experience. Passion and insight into The Walt Disney Company segments, brands, and franchises, with expertise to build further audience engagement. Education and Compensation A Bachelor's degree is required for this role. The hiring range for this position in CA is $71,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year, with the base pay taking into account internal equity and varying depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
