As a Consumer Insight Intern, you'll be part of the Consumer Insight group within the Worldwide Marketing and Sales Association, which plays a critical role in driving business decisions with integrated, objective, and actionable insights. **Day in the Life** As a Consumer Insight Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer experiences. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: * Conducting qualitative and quantitative customer research to inform business decisions * Analyzing data and presenting findings to internal stakeholders * Developing and implementing research studies to gather insights on consumer behavior * Collaborating with subject matter experts to design and execute research projects * Communicating research findings and recommendations to internal partners * Contributing to the development of business strategies and recommendations based on research insights **What We're Looking For** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique combination of skills and qualities, including: * **Critical thinking and analytical skills**: You'll need to be able to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights to inform business decisions. * **Research expertise**: You should have experience with SPSS or a similar statistical software package, as well as a solid understanding of research methodologies and design. * **Communication skills**: You'll need to be able to effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. * **Collaboration and teamwork**: You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams, so you should be able to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with others. * **Inquisitive nature and enthusiasm for learning**: You should be curious and passionate about understanding consumer behavior and driving business growth. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Experience with SurveyMonkey or a similar survey software package * Past research experience, including survey design and data analysis * Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI * Strong understanding of marketing principles and consumer behavior **Education Requirements** To be eligible for this internship, you must be a current student or recent graduate (within the past six months) pursuing a four-year degree in Marketing, Finance, Human Sciences, Psychology, Statistics, Business, or a related field. **Additional Requirements** To be considered for this internship, you must: * Be at least 18 years old * Not have completed one year of continuous work on a Disney internship or program * Have unlimited work authorization * Be willing to adhere to The Disney Look appearance guidelines * Have a reliable, stable plan for working throughout the internship * Have solid transportation to/from work **Program Length and Benefits** The internship is expected to run from January 2024 to June 2024. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $20 to $30 an hour.
