JOB DESCRIPTION
ROLE OVERVIEW
ā¢ Client is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support enterprise-level transformation initiatives in procurement and supply chain management.
ā¢ The ideal candidate will possess deep domain knowledge in procurement processes, experience with SAP systems (especially S/4HANA), and a strong track record in business process analysis and design. This consultant will play a key role in capturing business requirements, aligning stakeholders, and translating business needs into actionable system and process improvements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ā¢ Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
ā¢ Work with stakeholders across procurement, supply chain, and IT to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
ā¢ Translate complex business needs into functional specifications for SAP and related systems.
ā¢ SAP Procurement & Supply Chain Support:
ā¢ Act as a liaison between functional teams and SAP technical teams to ensure solution alignment.
ā¢ Support configurations and enhancements across SAP procurement modules (e.g., MM, Ariba, S/4HANA).
ā¢ Analyze and validate data across procurement and supply chain domains (e.g., materials, vendors, BOMs).
ā¢ Business Process Mapping & Design:
ā¢ Document current-state processes and identify opportunities for standardization and optimization.
ā¢ Collaborate in the design of future-state process models aligned with global transformation goals.
ā¢ Ensure business processes are scalable, complaint, and automation ready.
ā¢ Project Support & Testing:
ā¢ Participate in solution workshops, sprint planning, and user story development.
ā¢ Support testing activities, including scenario definition, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect triage.
ā¢ Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
ā¢ Change Management & Training Enablement:
ā¢ Contribute to change impact assessments and stakeholder readiness activities.
ā¢ Develop user documentation, training materials, and support onboarding for new processes or systems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
ā¢ 7+ years of business analysis experience in procurement or supply chain environments
ā¢ Strong working knowledge of SAP procurement systems (MM, Ariba, S/4HANA) and integration with supply chain functions
ā¢ Demonstrated experience with business process modeling and requirements management
ā¢ Skilled in tools such as Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent
ā¢ Experience supporting enterprise transformation programs or ERP implementations
ā¢ Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to work across functions and geographies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
ā¢ Experience in the consumer health, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry
ā¢ Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) and Bill of Materials (BOM) processes
ā¢ Exposure to Agile methodologies and cross-functional project delivery
ā¢ Formal certification such as CBAP, PMP, Agile/Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma .
