Job Summary As a Commissioned Freight Sales Agent, you'll work as an independent agent on a commission basis, responsible for presenting and selling freight products and services to new and existing customers. Key Responsibilities Present and sell freight products and services to new and existing customers, identifying opportunities and building relationships to drive growth and revenue. Prospect and contact potential freight partners to expand our network and increase our customer base. Book carriers to handle shipments , ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods. Reach agreed-upon contracts targets by the deadline, meeting or exceeding sales and revenue goals. Maintain a book of business to retain continuous freight and manufacturers, building long-term relationships and ensuring a stable revenue stream. Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments, providing exceptional customer service and support. Essential Qualifications Sales-oriented with a proven track record of success in sales or a related field.
