About the Role As a Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the cloud strategy and architecture for our client's organization. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions that meet the client's business needs. This is a fully remote role, with occasional onsite work possible in St. Paul, MN. You'll enjoy the flexibility and autonomy of working remotely while collaborating with a talented team of professionals. Key Responsibilities Design and architect enterprise cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices. Develop and implement cloud migration plans, including assessment, planning, and execution, for large enterprise organizations. Ensure cloud solutions are secure, compliant, and meet state and federal guidelines, leveraging knowledge of cloud shared responsibility and security models. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop cloud solutions that meet those needs, using strong verbal and written communication skills. Troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Develop and maintain cloud monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Azure Monitor, SCOM, or SolarWinds. Scripting with Python and/or PowerShell to automate cloud tasks and processes. Design and implement cloud IaaS and PaaS services, using Infrastructure Configuration Solutions like AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, or Azure Bicep. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud Architect, with a strong background in designing and implementing cloud solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. Highly Desired Skills In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills are highly desired: Experience designing enterprise cloud solutions with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Strong understanding of cloud shared responsibility and security models, with the ability to design secure cloud solutions. Experience with cloud migration planning, design, and process for large enterprise organizations. Cloud Monitoring and Alerting Solutions (Azure Monitor, SCOM, SolarWinds). Scripting with Python and/or PowerShell. Experience with Infrastructure Configuration Solutions like AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
