About the Role As a Cloud and Data Specialist at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in driving our technological advancements and data-driven decision-making. You'll be responsible for handling complex data tasks with precision and efficiency, leveraging your expertise in cloud systems, data management, and software development. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure, GCP, or AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Utilize supply chain management tools like Git and ADO to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Develop and maintain backend applications using Java or Spring Boot, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes or similar systems. Create responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React or Angular, following design specifications. Design and optimize database schema, write efficient SQL queries, and ensure data integrity in relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, working with user stories and acceptance criteria. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, exploring new solutions and troubleshooting complex issues. Lead technical initiatives and guide teams or projects, leveraging your technical expertise and experience. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of code changes. Design and implement scalable and efficient data processing solutions, handling high-volume streaming data. Debug complex technical issues, providing hands-on support and resolving problems at the code level. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent formal education or work experience. A minimum of 3 years of qualifying work experience in an IT or engineering environment, with a strong background in cloud computing, data management, and software development. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following skills and experience are highly desirable: Experience with Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Apps. A related advanced degree, which may offset the associated experience requirements.
