Key Responsibilities


Respond to incoming calls in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner, addressing member inquiries and concerns.
Utilize proprietary ASH systems to look up member information and provide relevant details to callers.
Document all calls accurately and thoroughly in the Communication Log.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or queue, ensuring timely resolution.
Leverage online resources to provide timely and informed responses to member inquiries.
Manage time effectively to meet or exceed minimum key job accountabilities, ensuring calls are answered within required timeframes.
Participate in weekly staff meetings and other team discussions to foster collaboration and address departmental issues.
Respond to internal and external customer requests, as required.


Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:


A High School Diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in an inbound call center environment.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in using proprietary systems.
Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact positively and respectfully with diverse stakeholders.


Preferred qualifications include:


Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry trends.
