**Daily Responsibilities of a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist**
As a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Scanning, tracking, and processing claims and claims correspondence with high accuracy and efficiency
* Researching claims that come back with errors to identify and correct any discrepancies
* Entering data into our electronic records system with a high level of accuracy and speed
* Meeting or exceeding production numbers and attendance requirements
* Maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy, with a goal of entering 20 claims per hour with 97% accuracy
**Schedule and Pay**
* Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
* Competitive hourly rate of $15 per hour
**Length of Assignment**
* 3-month contract with the opportunity to extend or convert to a permanent position
**Requirements of a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A High School Diploma or GED
* At least 6 months of experience working in data entry, with a focus on high-volume typing
* Excellent typing skills, with the ability to type 35+ WPM
* A reliable smartphone, high-speed internet, and a private workspace for remote work
* To be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
