Job Overview
As a Child Care Spanish Teacher at Bright Horizons, you will be responsible for crafting enriching experiences that promote language development, cultural awareness, and academic excellence in our infant, toddler, and preschool programs. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement Spanish language curriculum that aligns with our educational philosophy and goals
Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development
Observe and record children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing strategies to support their growth
Communicate effectively with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement special events, projects, and activities that promote language development, cultural awareness, and community engagement
Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices in early childhood education and language development


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

A degree in Early Childhood Education, Spanish, or a related field
Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a childcare or educational setting
Strong knowledge of child development principles, including language development, social-emotional learning, and cognitive development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a stronger candidate for this role:

A master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Spanish, or a related field

Experience working with children who are dual language learners or have special needs
A certification in Early Childhood Education, such as the CDA or a state-specific certification
