Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and certified teachers to join our team as Small Group Intervention Specialists in West Florida. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students by providing targeted support and instruction in reading, math, and other essential skills. With part and full-time schedules available, this is an excellent opportunity for new, experienced, and retired teachers alike to join our team and contribute to the success of our students.
Key Responsibilities
Instruct small groups of students in reading, math, and other essential skills, using a prescribed curriculum and the gradual release model of instruction.
Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans that address the unique needs and abilities of each student.
Utilize company-provided curriculum and educational strategies to deliver targeted instruction and support to students.
Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines, including student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, and compliance documentation.
Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences to communicate student progress and address parent concerns.
Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or related field.
Current Florida Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility.
Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
Willingness and ability to teach both math and reading/ELA to various grade levels.
Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferred.
A passion to help students succeed and make a positive impact in their lives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with students who are struggling or at-risk.
Knowledge of research-based instructional strategies and best practices in education.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting.
