Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our remote operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional client service, processing data entry tasks, and supporting our pharmacy operations. Key Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, as well as other pharmacy-related tasks, in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Process data entry tasks, including entering patient and medication information, and maintaining accurate records. Provide exceptional client service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Model and promote Walgreens' customer service standards, including a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by management, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks. Tasks and Responsibilities In addition to client service and data entry tasks, you'll also be responsible for: Assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, as well as other pharmacy-related tasks, in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Processing prescriptions and maintaining accurate records. Handling cash and credit transactions, and operating a point-of-sale system. Performing other duties as assigned by management, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks. Stay current on industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our pharmacy operations and services. Preferred Capabilities We're looking for a team member who possesses the following preferred capabilities: Previous experience working in a retail or healthcare environment, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and customer service principles. PTCB certification, with a strong understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations. Excellent numerical skills, with the ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy software applications and other technology systems.
