Job Highlights Company: DriveTime Transports Position: CDL A Truck Driver - Home Daily, No Touch Freight, Night Shift Start Date: Immediate openings available Compensation: Competitive salary with additional bonuses and benefits Location: Remote (must live within 40 miles of Fort Ogden, FL 33982) Key Responsibilities Operate a Class A truck on a dedicated home daily route, transporting refrigerated freight with some non-perishable items Work on a night shift schedule, Thursday - Monday or Friday - Tuesday Ensure safe and timely delivery of freight, with no touch freight handling Maintain accurate records and reports, including logs and delivery documentation Participate in regular safety and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations Collaborate with dispatch and other drivers to ensure efficient and effective route planning and execution Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Valid CDL A license with a good driving record Must live within 40 miles of Fort Ogden, FL 33982 Ability to speak, write, and read English 10 years of work/school history required on application No more than 3 truck driving jobs in the last 12 months All CDL-A experience must be verifiable No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months No more than 1 on-road or DOT preventable loss in the last 2 years No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years No DUI/DWI within the past 10 years No SAP drivers on this account Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with refrigerated freight and non-perishable items Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation and Benefits As a CDL A truck driver with DriveTime Transports, you can expect a competitive salary and benefits package, including: Average weekly pay of $1300 $10 per stop, with 2-3 stops per day $30 for loads under 90 miles Additional $.04 cpm safety and performance bonus, paid monthly Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth Work Environment and Company Culture At DriveTime Transports, we pride ourselves on a positive and supportive work environment.
