About the Role As a Category Specialist – Emerging Opportunities in Grocery and Convenience Store Development, you will be responsible for supporting key strategic initiatives for DashMart category management, including but not limited to: * Analyzing performance data on current initiatives to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth * Recommending action-based strategies to drive growth and improve performance * Collaborating with cross-functional partners, including vendor management, menu engineering, supply chain, and warehousing as a service (WaaS), to develop and implement growth strategies * Developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote new products and services * Acting as a main point of contact for vendors and supporting strong ongoing partnerships Key Responsibilities * Analyze performance data on current initiatives to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth * Develop and recommend action-based strategies to drive growth and improve performance * Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and implement growth strategies * Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote new products and services * Act as a main point of contact for vendors and support strong ongoing partnerships * Provide regular reporting and updates to stakeholders on progress and results * Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or supply chain management * 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as sales, buying, and/or retail * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable recommendations * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and vendors * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data analysis tools and software Preferred Qualifications * Experience in the grocery or convenience store industry * Knowledge of category management principles and practices * Experience with marketing and promotional campaigns * Familiarity with supply chain and logistics operations * Experience working with vendors and suppliers Skills and Competencies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel * Experience with data analysis tools and software * Strong business acumen and understanding of market trends and consumer behavior Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits As a Category Specialist – Emerging Opportunities in Grocery and Convenience Store Development, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and initiatives that will help drive growth and improve performance for DashMart.
