Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Planning Supervisor to join our blithequark team. As a key member of our Business Execution and Planning group, you will play a crucial role in driving the commercial planning and strategy development for our direct-to-consumer business. Your expertise in business analysis, planning, and execution will help us optimize our recruitment and subscriber growth, while ensuring seamless collaboration with our brand and performance marketing teams, country teams, and finance groups. Key Responsibilities Support the development of principal planning models, including the annual operating plan model and the monthly forecasting model, to provide executive-level overview and insights Collaborate on the development of our annual strategy and quarterly preparation, as well as monthly and bi-monthly forecasting processes Develop and present business cases and scenarios to inform decision-making on pricing, go-to-market strategies, and revenue optimization Conduct ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses on drivers of performance for the past quarter Support the preparation of EMEA and US business updates Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you should possess: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, economics, or finance Experience working in data-driven environments and driving decision-making through data analysis Ability to tailor communications to various audiences, including country teams, global teams, and executives High numeracy and analytical skills, with attention to detail and thoroughness Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a concise and actionable manner Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple project timelines and deadlines that run concurrently A positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude, with a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Experience working in the entertainment or media industry, with a focus on direct-to-consumer business Knowledge of business planning and strategy development, with expertise in data analysis and interpretation Familiarity with marketing and finance principles, including pricing, revenue optimization, and budgeting Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
