Job Summary
This temp-to-perm position is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join the arenaflex team as a non-clinical customer service representative. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from home after completing the onsite/virtual training program. Your primary responsibility will be to handle daily member telephone calls, providing guidance, education, and support to ensure that members receive the necessary services and resources. You will also collaborate with providers to resolve eligibility, benefit, and claims issues, making a positive impact on the lives of arenaflex members.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to member inquiries via telephone, providing accurate and timely information on various healthcare-related topics, including benefits, claims, and provider services
Direct members to the proper services and resources, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and care
Assist providers with eligibility, benefit, and claims issues, resolving problems and answering questions in a professional and courteous manner
Conduct ongoing member education, empowering members to make informed decisions about their healthcare
Participate in departmental projects and quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of innovative solutions and process enhancements
Coordinate with the Medical Management Department to authorize services and ensure seamless care coordination
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to departmental standards for call documentation and data entry


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or healthcare environment
High school diploma or equivalent required
Fluency in Spanish is required; please indicate your language proficiency in your profile
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls and prioritizing tasks effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and customer satisfaction
