Day-to-Day Responsibilities As a Remote Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, your primary role will be to serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking federal assistance, answering questions about prior registrations, and providing referrals to relief programs via our call center. Your duties will include: Serving as a direct point of contact for individuals registering for federal assistance, answering questions about prior registrations, and seeking relief program referrals via the call center. Conducting all calls with patience, tact, and courtesy to determine needs, provide instructions, and/or referrals, ensuring that each interaction is handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Entering information into arenaflex's Windows-based computer database as required, following instructions, and conducting scripted interviews to ensure accurate and efficient data collection. Providing phone numbers and agency referrals as necessary for applicable secondary support organizations and other assistance, connecting individuals with the resources they need to recover and rebuild. Performing additional duties assigned based on arenaflex's level of support to the event, demonstrating your ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. Attending all scheduled shift meetings to receive event-specific information prior to beginning your shift, ensuring that you are always well-informed and prepared to provide the best possible support. Key Performance Expectations To excel in this role, you will need to display excellent communication and customer service skills, exhibiting a high level of professionalism in all communications, including reading, writing, and speaking English fluently. You should also be proficient in using personal computers in a Microsoft Windows-based environment and have experience with data entry, ensuring that all information is accurately and efficiently recorded. Additionally, you will need to: Manage a high level of confidentiality, handling sensitive information with discretion and care. Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, utilizing tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook to perform your duties efficiently. Demonstrate excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, ensuring that all interactions are clear, concise, and effective. Be able to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to meet performance goals. Work collaboratively as a team member, as well as independently, to achieve shared objectives and provide seamless support to those in need. Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements: Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience considered in lieu of degree. U.S. Citizenship. Ability to manage a high level of confidentiality. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently. Must have a high-speed internet connection, with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps (50 Mbps for a shared connection) and a minimum upload speed of 5 Mbps (10 Mbps preferred). While not required, bilingual proficiency is highly preferred, as it will enable you to provide support to a more diverse range of individuals and communities.
