About the Role
In this critical position, you will serve as a trusted advisor and educator, providing empathetic support to our members as they navigate their healthcare needs. As a bilingual representative, fluent in both English and Spanish, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our diverse member base receives the help they need, when they need it most. This role offers the flexibility of a primarily remote work arrangement, with occasional visits to the office for training, team meetings, or engagement activities. You will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, participate in paid training programs, and enjoy continuous learning opportunities that will enhance your skills and knowledge. With available shifts including both 5-day and 4-day work schedules, and varying start times, you'll be able to balance your work and personal life while contributing to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to members by addressing their healthcare-related inquiries, including claims questions, finding doctors, and explaining benefits.
Act as a trusted advisor and educator, empowering members to make informed decisions about their healthcare.
Assist expectant mothers in finding the right healthcare providers and support members with serious health conditions, such as cancer, with compassion and understanding.
Collaborate with team members to solve problems, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive positive outcomes.
Participate in paid training programs and continuous learning opportunities to enhance your skills, knowledge, and career growth.


Essential Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in an automated customer service environment or equivalent education and experience.
Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to pass a validated language test/assessment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, navigate multiple computer applications, and prioritize tasks effectively.
