Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries via phone in a fast-paced call center environment. You will provide account maintenance, address refund inquiries, and assist with password resets, among other tasks. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be expected to maintain a working knowledge of current tax laws and policies, staying up-to-date on revised policies, procedures, regulations, and tax laws to accurately educate and advise internal and external customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist customers via phone or in person, providing timely and friendly support
Review confidential tax information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Provide account maintenance according to tax laws and policies, procedures, and regulations
Offer customer support for online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center
Provide knowledgeable and accurate information, utilizing technology for advanced support
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or GED, combined with at least six months of call center experience handling customer questions, complaints, and/or providing information.
