**Key Responsibilities**

As a Bi-Lingual Cashier/Customer Service Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:

* Operating the point of sale register efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns
* Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Managing front desk duties, including answering telephones, handling in-house radio communications, and performing miscellaneous job assignments
* Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of quality and customer satisfaction

* Participating in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge

**Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in retail or customer service is an asset
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management in a professional and courteous manner
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
* Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and returns
* Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the store as needed

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Bi-lingual skills (English and Spanish) are highly preferred, but not required
* Prior experience in retail or customer service, particularly in a hardware store or similar environment
* Knowledge of hardware products and services, with the ability to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers
* Experience with point of sale systems, including cash handling and credit card processing
