Job Overview We are excited to offer an Accelerated Program Paid Training for Behavioral Technicians, providing a unique opportunity for individuals to launch their career in ABA therapy. As a Behavioral Technician, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement personalized therapy plans, collect data, and provide one-on-one support to children with ASD. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with ASD, implementing personalized treatment plans and collecting data on behavior and skill acquisition Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans under the guidance of a BCBA Collaborate with BCBAs to develop and implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy Respond to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality services Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's Degree or be working towards a degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) Experience working with children in a 1:1 setting for at least 1 year 1-year experience in ABA or a related field (or 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle Ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families University Partnerships, Supervision, Practicum, and Mentoring experience Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Compassion and empathy for children and families affected by ASD Strong organizational and time management skills Career Growth Opportunities At Key Autism Services, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
