**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* Engaging with members to understand their health needs and concerns, providing empathetic and supportive interactions to ensure their well-being
* Reviewing member claim history for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and accessible
* Explaining member rights and responsibilities, including benefits and claims information, in a clear and concise manner
* Building trusting relationships with members through active listening, effective communication, and a customer-centric approach
* Performing financial data maintenance, including updating member records and processing claims
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve member issues and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
* Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and arenaflex policies and procedures
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center atmosphere
* A strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices, with a preference for previous experience in this field
* A medical or insurance background is also preferred, but not required
* A High School Diploma or GED is required, with an Associate's degree preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and internal stakeholders
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and find effective solutions
* Proficiency in computer software and technology, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
