Key Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans tailored to the needs of our clients. Collect and accurately record data in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to inform treatment decisions. Support families and caregivers by providing them with the tools and strategies necessary to implement new skills. Create a nurturing and fun learning environment that promotes client engagement and progress. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Behavior Technician with Achieving True Self, you should possess: A passion for working with children and individuals with disabilities. The ability to apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles in a fun and engaging manner. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Proficiency in using technology for documentation and administrative tasks. Reliability and flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and after-school hours. In terms of qualifications, you should have: Professional experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, ideally in educational or caregiving settings. Educational background in related fields such as Psychology, Special Education, or Social Work (not required but preferred). A high school diploma or equivalent, with proof of transcripts. A valid driver's license, proof of car insurance, and a reliable vehicle. The ability to start part-time and grow into a full caseload.
