About the Role

As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet. You'll be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with other teams to resolve complex problems. Key Responsibilities


Perform routine maintenance tasks on aircraft, engines, and components, including inspections, repairs, and replacements
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues, using technical manuals and diagnostic tools
Record maintenance activities, including part damage, origin, and condition, to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
Practice safety-conscious behaviors and procedures, adhering to company and regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with other teams, including engineering and operations, to resolve maintenance-related issues and improve overall efficiency


Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:


A high school diploma or equivalent
A valid driver's license
Be at least 18 years old
Be authorized to work in the United States
The ability to read and write English at a level sufficient to understand and apply information contained in technical manuals
The ability to work in confined spaces for occasional periods
A satisfactory score on the mechanical aptitude test, which is designed to assess your ability to perform fundamental work functions
The ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating/fixed shifts, evenings, and weekends


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:


An Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license, which demonstrates your expertise in aircraft maintenance and repair
Previous experience working in an aviation maintenance environment, preferably with a major airline or maintenance organization
