Experienced Audit Staff - Palm Beach Gardens (Hybrid)

Cherry Bekaert is ranked among the largest assurance, tax and advisory firms in the U.S., and they are seeking an Experienced Audit Staff in their Palm Beach Gardens office. The role involves performing audit procedures, communicating with clients to assess accounting processes, and preparing financial statement footnotes and recommendations. Responsibilities Perform audit procedures, over cash, A/R, inventories property and equipment, prepaids, A/P, accrued expenses, debt and general income statement accounts in client financial statements and propose adjusting journal entries when needed Communicate with client personnel in order to identify and assess existing client accounting processes, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements Review accounting transactions and consider appropriate application of generally accepted accounting principles Prepare financial statement footnotes (on areas audited) and internal control observations and recommendations Research fundamental issues using online tools Perform other duties as needed on engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel Skills 1+ years' experience in public accounting or other industry related experience Bachelor's degree in accounting CPA certified or the eligibility to work toward obtaining a CPA license Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-task) Experience using Engagement is a plus Masters preferred Benefits Annual bonus Medical, dental, and vision care Disability and life insurance Generous Paid Time Off Retirement plans Paid Care Leave Other programs that are dedicated to enhancing your personal and work life and providing you and your family with a measure of financial protection Company Overview Cherry Bekaert is an accounting firm that offers tax, audit, and advisory solutions.
