Experienced ATS Startup Project Manager – Remote Opportunity for a Results-Driven Leader in Transportation Engineering Services

As a key player in the Transportation Engineering Services (TES) division, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and tracking projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring the successful launch of new builds, retrofits, and expansions in support of the Sort Center network. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced project manager to drive project execution, standardization, and process improvement, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Key Responsibilities As an ATS Startup Project Manager , your primary objectives will include: Own projects from kickoff to close-out, ensuring timely and to-standard project handover to Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) operational teams Partner with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate planning meetings, scope efforts, set project priorities, achieve milestones, and drive delivery Execute with Customer Obsession to ensure a seamless project handover, while assessing issues that may impede a successful project handover and escalating through leadership with actionable resolutions Coordinate and control Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) for a turn-key solution, ensuring the highest levels of Associate readiness Deliver on a budget for operational improvements to finishes, furnishings, and equipment, employing frugality throughout Travel up to 80% across various regions, with a valid driver's license, to support project execution and meet with stakeholders Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A strong background in project management, with experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build partnerships and lead through influence A proven track record of driving project execution, standardization, and process improvement, with a focus on delivering results and meeting KPIs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues and develop actionable resolutions Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of ambiguity and a bias for action Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in the transportation or logistics industry, with a strong understanding of the Sort Center network and Amazon's operations A certification in project management, such as PMP or Agile, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools Experience working with external stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and construction teams, with a strong ability to build partnerships and manage stakeholder expectations A strong understanding of operational readiness testing and the ability to coordinate and control ORT for a turn-key solution Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, implement, coordinate, and track projects from kickoff to completion Communication: Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build partnerships and lead through influence Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues and develop actionable resolutions Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of ambiguity and a bias for action Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
