Drive a deep understanding of our customers' needs, behaviors, and pain points through effective customer research initiatives. Utilize data analysis and customer behavior insights to inform design decisions. Implement research findings and customer feedback analysis to validate design hypotheses and iterate on solutions. Design Execution and Operations Design Thinking: Apply design thinking principles to regulate the creation of exceptional customer experiences that meet objectives with rich transparency. Drive a sense of urgency in the team to deliver work, emphasizing the use of lean tools and methodologies to more quickly deliver results. Direct project operations, responsibility distribution, and ensure timely project delivery while maintaining a high level of quality. Team Leadership and Management Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of talented UX designers and design managers. Be a design thought leader who can take a step back on overall goals and valuable opportunities, while also acting as a product expert who can work closely with their teams with domain knowledge and design expertise. Oversee project operations, responsibility distribution, and ensure timely project delivery while maintaining a high level of quality. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Architecture, or a related field. Solid understanding of design processes; knowledge of what is possible and what will be difficult to achieve or potentially implement in a digital environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to present and articulate ideas, openness to advancing opinions that challenge beliefs. Proficiency in current design tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, UXPin, and Creative Suite. Ability to create relevant deliverables, including detailed site maps, user flows/task flows, user journeys, page flows, information architectures/folksonomies, ways to buy, wireframes, annotations, and prototypes that address interaction suggestions, etc. A web-based portfolio of case studies demonstrating experience in shaping B2B, SAAS, or Enterprise platform insight and your unwavering advocacy for the customer, data-driven direction, and strategic thinking. Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS. Involved skills are a plus. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a related field, such as a Master's in Human-Computer Interaction or a related field. Experience leading a team of UX designers and design managers in a fast-paced, agile environment. Proven track record of driving design innovation and delivering exceptional customer experiences that meet business objectives. Expertise in design systems, accessibility, and inclusive design principles.
